Angling Kitteh likes to fish

Hello, long time my friends. Well I am sure you wondered where I had gone to. I am still here in Leiden watching and following the kitty cats. I still don’t have my own furstaff but I’m surrounded by them. Hee 😀 which I love of course. It is their world and don’t all you minions forget it. mol

I am in my new home of nearly two years now, which I guess makes it not so new anymore. There are many cats around but one that has caught my eye is just a 5 minute walk away, along from the video store and the off license. Where I hear you ask!? I think the clue is in the title.

Yes, there is an angling store for people and furs who like to fish and catch their Friday supper. The shop has fishing rods, tackles and boxes and all sorts of other paraphernalia. Including a lovely ginger kitteh.

Why is he in the store you say? Does he live there or is he shopping? I have seen him in there many times so I think he does live there or very nearby.

Or maybe he is just an avid fisherpuss whose favourite dish is toona fish. Maybe he is connected with the #wlf ? And this is one of their plans, to overtake the world one fishy at a time. You never know what that highly intelligent mischievous gang is up to.

But I digress, he is a very handsome kitteh that owns that shop for sure. I think I will call him the Fisherman’s Friend Phillop.

Such a cool dude, he likes to watch the world go by and stand guard on the shop front. This is his territory.

He can’t miss a thing and watches so intently not wanting to make eye contact in case he misses something more important.

A very appropriate home/shop for a feline fan of the fishy world.

Oh how I wish I could find an excuse to pop in and meet him, but I struggle to find enthusiasm for the angling world and no reasons occur to me. Maybe one day… sigh.

Feline Bike Inspection

Wherever I go and whenever I stop whilst out and about in Leiden on my bicycle it goes through the same process of examination by the Kitty that is around and on duty at the time. Why is this???

If I see a cat on my travels and if I have the time I will stop and say ‘hello’. Upon my stopping the aforementioned cats like to come up to the bike and sniff and smell and take a closer look. Is there a certain scent my bike has taken on that makes for it to become interesting and curious for the cats around? Are they checking that this strange object is harmless and not a danger to them? or myself? It is a strange thing.

A friend of mine whom owns a cat, also reports the same issue. Whilst working on their bike in the back court-yard, Tom the cat came up and had to sniff and double-check the bike was safe and no trouble to all concerned.

If I didn’t know any better, I would swear and be sure that this is the work of the #WLF ! Those elite members of the furry band of revolutionary Kittehs are most probably behind this cunning and under the radar operation. I just wonder what their plan is and how they plan to go forward with the information that they collect and collate!???

Both these cats are neighbours of mine and have seen me around lots of the time. But they just weren’t sure about the bike and had to check it out to make sure.

They did it give it the paws up in the end though 🙂 This is one mystery still to be solved!

Best friends or co-conspirators

There are two cats that live near my apartment, I think they live together within the courtyard of houses next to us as you quite often see them together. I think it is great when cats get on well together. So often cats fight for territory or just tolerate each other. These two guys really seem to like their company.

Here they are hiding in the bushes. The ginger one quite often is found sleeping in this particular hidey spot.

I did feel though that I was interrupting their secret talks, and I had to move along quite quickly. What were they planning I wondered total Feline domination or just how best to instruct the human staff? #WLF

Even if there is a window between them they do still like to be together.

Although as you can see they went to great lengths to cover up the fact they are in secret cohorts together.
